WELCOME

Join me, a paint-splattered poet, along with our small studio team of east-meets-west creativity. Together, we bring life to design with a visual collage of energy, emotion and experience. Poetry and words merge with vibrant colors, layered textures, and vintage ephemera. If it sparks your soul, let it draw you in to discover the deeper story.

I hope my work inspires you to:

Observe what is often overlooked
Celebrate joy and goodness
Appreciate imperfection and playfulness
Expand gratitude with humor and wit
Discover happiness in ordinary moments

SIGNATURE 'I AM' STATEMENTS

“In my own journey, I’ve set out to renew and expand one’s definition of self by replacing restrictive attributes (name, age, gender, origin) with poetic and expansive concepts. To this end, I write tiny poems, or ‘I am’ statements. Actually, I write, paint, collage, sculpt and construct them. Through this process, the ‘I am’ begins to feel more real and true. In my experience, the statements transport one’s sense of self from a place of limited conceptual identity into a more sacred space.

‘I am’ statements remind us to be acutely more present with the here and now, to expand and to be bold. If we change our frame of reference, our lens, we can see ourselves from afar and discover greater truth, beauty and potential.

You will notice that each of my original paintings are titled with an ‘I am’. I look forward to sharing ‘I am’ statements through our social media and learning about yours, too.”

MIRRORS & MENTORS
We all have too much ‘stuff.’
And yet, we keep acquiring more & more. As another company making this ‘stuff’ we didn’t want to get stuck in the quicksand.

So we asked ourselves: what if objects could speak? What if they could listen? What if things themselves could become trusted mirrors & mentors? That’s when we stopped making meaningless ‘stuff” & started creating mindful mementos.
A memento is an object kept as a reminder.
And that is precisely what we make: reminders to be unconditionally thankful, to plug back into source, to find a way to play.

We infuse everyday objects with spirit, joy & mantra. Our tapestries and home accents speak to you as you go about your day. They remind you to slice open the now & wake up on purpose. They remind you to laugh at yourself & thank joy all around.
TRISHLA JAIN (bio)
Hello, I’m Trishla. I can only say that I belong to you & I am here for you, no matter what.
On my journey as a seeker, mother & artist, I have come to believe that:

JOY IS GRATITUDE | SPIRIT IS CENTER | & MANTRA is MAGIC
JOY IS GRATITIUDE

“Joy is the simplest form of gratitude,” Karl Barth teaches.

Thank Joy is born from this guiding principle. Every brushstroke, stitch & seam in my work aims to spark joy. And for me, joy is a way of life & the most effective way to bow my head & pray.

You see, I cartwheel in Your honor with everything I paint, write or make. This spirit of celebration springs from utter completeness.

Thank Joy is an expression of unconditional gratitude for the wonders of creation & creator.
SPIRIT IS CENTER

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience,” Pierre Teilhard de Chardin reminds us.

Our never ending to-do lists take us away from the simplicity of just ‘being.’ My work, in essence, is an expression of being, rather than of striving.

If you ask me who I am when we first meet, I might say I am an artist or writer. But really, I’m more an ‘interior’ designer. Through daily meditation, ancient breathing techniques & relentless mindfulness, I seek the truth behind the truth in every aspect of life. Spirit seeking leaves nothing out. I live and construct my identity consciously, not by default, brick by brick.

I am a work-in-progress-woman, firmly grounded in the solidity & promise of spirit. This crystal clarity is what I’d like to share with you.
MANTRA IS MAGIC

“I stepped into the bookshop and breathed in that perfume of paper and magic that strangely no one had ever thought of bottling,” writes Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

When conceptualizing our products, we use words as mantras, as repeated chants, echoing through the fabric of human consciousness. Our chants begin with the words “I am.”

The “I am” mantra anchors you simultaneously in Self and in the now. And that’s when we change the rules of the game. We replace your restrictive attributes (name, age, gender, origin) with your capacity to be infinite & expansive like the ocean.

Our pieces whisper, “I am your midnight swim.” They say, “I am zooming way out and becoming too small to worry about.” Or “I just finished my fiftieth lap around the sun.”

If it’s in the stars, I hope you chance upon a memento in our collection that says, “I am made for you. I am home.”
Now, I’d like to introduce you to the woman that makes the transformation from art to artifact a reality:
SABAH MANSOOR (bio)
These days design is all about fancy words like form & function. We do things diagonally here.

Picasso once said, “Great artists steal.” In creating our pieces, design means stealing buttery paint, shafts of paper & willful words straight off Trishla’s canvases & recrafting them into everyday objects.
In making mindful mementos, I’m really a weaver & orchestra conductor. My team & I harmonize seemingly disparate elements like rap lyrics, Victorian tea cups & old Swiss chocolate wrappers to sing in unison.

Every day & every design is a new journey. All I can say is that the process is as filled with as much spirit, joy & mantra as the product we hold in our hands at the end of the day.
OUR ARTISANS
Our east-meets-west studio includes a small team of specialized artisans based in India.

The process begins with beading, stitching and jeweling on carefully selected fabrics. The tapestries are then stretched and hand-wrapped over wood frames before being delivered to you.
Our artisans often work two to four at a time on each tapestry, using up to 108 unique materials. It can take up to four days to complete one tapestry.

We use only vegan materials, including a variety of synthetic and natural fibers, fabrics, embellishments, and derivative blends. We also use Ahimsa silks, also known as ‘peace silk.’
